WHY REGENERATIVE TREATMENTS?
Natural Results, Using Your Body’s Own Healing Power
Our regenerative aesthetic approach combines PRP, polynucleotides, skin boosters, microneedling and anti-wrinkle treatments to rejuvenate the delicate eye area. These treatments can support hydration, skin renewal and collagen production, helping to minimise fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles and a tired or heavy appearance. As part of a tailored approach, regenerative treatments may also help soothe eye-area irritation and relieve feelings of itching and dryness, leaving the eyes and surrounding skin feeling more comfortable, refreshed and hydrated.

On the Day of Your Appointment Please help your practitioner by avoiding strong perfume, aftershave, or heavily scented body products, as fragrances may trigger sensitivities or allergies. If possible, refrain from smoking and consuming alcohol on the day of your treatment. Children are not permitted in the treatment room to ensure a safe and distraction-free environment. Companions are welcome; however, please let us know in advance, as some treatment rooms have limited space. For the safety and wellbeing of everyone in the clinic, we reserve the right to postpone or decline treatment if strong fragrances create a health concern or prevent the practitioner from safely carrying out the procedure. For Skin Booster & Polynucleotides treatments to the lip area, if you have a history of cold sores, inform your practitioner in advance — prophylactic antivirals may be recommended. Avoid dental work, including hygienist appointments, for 2 weeks before and after treatment. Before your aesthetic procedure, consider taking an over-the-counter antihistamine to help reduce swelling, bruising or another reaction if appropriate for you. Always consult your pharmacist to ensure it is safe alongside any medications or medical conditions. However please follow your practitioner's pre-treatment advice and inform us of any health concerns before your appointment. Make-up & Contact Lenses Please attend your appointment with clean skin and, where possible, avoid wearing make-up on the treatment area. This helps reduce the risk of contamination and allows your practitioner to properly assess your skin. If your treatment involves the eye area, we recommend removing contact lenses before your appointment and bringing your glasses if needed. Skincare Routine Adjustment Refrain from using any creams, lotions, serums, oils, or skincare products on the treatment area on the day of your procedure. Arrive with clean skin that is completely free from makeup, fake tan, oils, or other residues. Sun Protection Minimise sun exposure for 48–72 hours before your appointment. Sunburned, tanned, or recently peeled skin can compromise both safety and effectiveness. If the treatment area will be exposed to sunlight before your arrival, apply a broad-spectrum SPF 50. Hydration Stay well-hydrated in the 24–48 hours leading up to your procedure. Hydrated skin responds better to treatment and heals faster. Medications & Supplements For injectable treatments — including Anti-Wrinkle, Skin Booster & Polynucleotides, Aqualyx, and Profhilo — avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements such as aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E, and ginkgo biloba for 5–7 days prior to your appointment, unless these have been prescribed by your doctor. If you are unsure, please contact the clinic for guidance. Alcohol & Lifestyle Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment — and for 48 hours prior to Anti-Wrinkle, Skin Booster & Polynucleotides, Aqualyx, and Profhilo. Avoid strenuous exercise immediately before your appointment. Dietary Advice (Before & After Your Cosmetic Procedure) For Aqualyx, eat a light meal before your appointment. To minimise the risk of unnecessary inflammation or allergic reactions, we recommend avoiding foods that you know may trigger allergies or sensitivities for at least 3 days before and 3 days after your cosmetic procedure. Where possible, also avoid very spicy foods during this period, as they may increase flushing or inflammation in some individuals. Clothing & Accessories Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the treatment area. Remove all jewellery, watches, or accessories from or near the treatment area before your appointment. For Micro-Sclerotherapy, wear loose trousers or bring shorts to change into. For Fungal Nails Laser Treatment, bring clean socks. What to Bring - Photo ID - List of current medications and supplements - Clean face / clean treatment area - Comfortable, loose clothing - Clean socks (for fungal nail laser treatment) *Important Reminders* If you are unwell — including cold, flu, fever, active skin infection, or cold sore outbreak — please contact the clinic to reschedule your appointment. Please inform your practitioner if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding, as some treatments may not be suitable. Disclose any autoimmune conditions, bleeding disorders, or implantable devices before your treatment. If you have any questions about your pre-treatment preparation, please contact Lisber Baldwin Clinic before your appointment.
