What can we
Help with?
Please make sure that you read both the pre-appointment and aftercare information prior to your appointment.
High Frequency is a painless treatment used to reduce inflammation and eliminate bacteria which lead to an array of skin issues and discomfort. These can include; ingrown hairs, acne breakouts, fine lines and wrinkles, enlarged pores, spots, heightened skin sensitivity and other skin problems.
Important Information
Pre-appointment
Adhering to these preparation instructions can help ensure a smooth recovery and minimise the risk of complications. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
-
Clean Underwear: If you are not receiving a high-frequency treatment designed to reduce bacteria, we recommend bringing a clean pair of underwear for after your appointment.
-
Medication Precautions: Please avoid waxing if you are currently taking antibiotics or corticosteroids, as these can increase skin sensitivity.
-
Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment to keep your skin well hydrated.
-
Hair Length: Please do not trim the hair before your visit. Slightly longer hair allows for a more effective and smoother waxing result. If trimming is required, this can be done during your appointment.
-
Avoid Strong Fragrances: Do not apply perfumes, scented products, or heavy moisturisers to the area being waxed.
-
No Exfoliation: Avoid exfoliating the area for at least 72 hours prior to your appointment.
-
Heat Exposure: On the day of your appointment, avoid hot showers, baths, saunas, or any treatments that generate excessive heat.
-
Comfortable Clothing: Wear loose-fitting clothing to minimise irritation after your waxing treatment.
-
Avoid Spicy Foods: Refrain from eating spicy foods beforehand, as they can increase skin sensitivity.
