Anti-Wrinkle

Reverse the signs of your ageing

Anti-wrinkle treatment is a cosmetic procedure that involves injecting a neurotoxin called botulinum toxin into specific muscles to temporarily stop or relax them. This treatment is commonly used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and crow's feet on the face. Botox works by blocking nerve signals to the muscles, preventing them from contracting and causing wrinkles.

The procedure is generally quick and relatively painless, with minimal downtime.
The effects of anti-wrinkle injections usually start to become visible within a few days and last for about three to six months.

However, it's important to note that anti-wrinkle is a temporary solution,
and repeated treatments are typically needed to maintain the desired results.

The graph illustrates the typical duration of treatments for anti-wrinkle procedures (specifically for the face and neck) and hyperhidrosis/sweating.

It is important to acknowledge that the durations provided are subject to variation based on individual differences in muscle resistance among patients.

Pre-Treatment

Preparation

Would be recommended take anti-stamina to minimise chances of swell in the area injected 3 days before and after (if not contra-indicated by your doctor or pharmacist) • Avoid Blood Thinners: It's generally recommended to avoid blood-thinning medications, such as aspirin, ibuprofen, or herbal supplements as well, high dose vitamin E, and high dose omega 3 oils for a week before the treatment to minimise bruising • Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your treatment to keep your skin well-hydrated. • Arrive Makeup-Free: On the day of your treatment, arrive with a clean face, free of makeup or any other products. This allows the healthcare professional to properly assess your skin and administer the injections accurately. • Avoid alcoholic beverages for 24 hours prior to procedure. • Avoid waxing, bleaching, tweezing, or the use of hair removal creams in the area(s) to be treated. • Take paracetamol (if not contraindicated) 1 hour prior to your appointment to help with any discomfort you may have, if you have concerns about discomfort. • If you have any history of Herpes Simplex (cold sores) on your face, make sure you inform the doctor that you have made your appointment with, one week prior to your appointment; this will allow us adequate time to prescribe a medication to prevent an outbreak.

Post-treatment

Aftercare

You may need to avoid makeup immediately following your treatment. • Avoid facials and saunas the day of treatment. • The results of your treatment can take up to 14 days to take full effect. Usually patients notice a change in 4-5 days. It takes time for the muscles to lose strength and the lines to fade following anti-wrinkle treatment. Please wait until 14 days have passed before assessing if you are pleased with the results. • Do not touch or rub injected site for 2-4 hours following treatment • Avoid exercise and sweating for the remainder of the day and no lying down or leaning forward for 2-4 hours after treatment. • There can be a slight chance of bruising at the treated site, this is temporary. Be assured that any tiny bumps or marks will go away within a few hours of treatment. • Avoid any type of facial, microdermabrasion, or massage for 14 days after treatment. Anti-wrinkle Cosmetic is a temporary procedure and at first, you may find that your treatment results will last approximately 3-4 months. If you maintain your treatment appointments with the frequency recommended by your clinician, the duration of each treatment results may last longer than 4 months. Changes in cabin pressure may theoretically cause the injected Botulinum Toxin to migrate from the original site, potentially resulting in an undesirable, asymmetrical or unbalanced appearance. These concerns, however, are not scientifically proven. Current literature advises that so long as clients wait between 24-48 hours post-treatment to fly, the risk of these adverse events occurring is negligible. But i would advice stay local between 1-2 weeks.
